First draft of letter, in note-book 1 (12) 1901 Mr. Bs. Goodhue, Secy. of the Kauai Kodak Klub, Koloa, Kauai, H.I.
Dear Sir: Please present my hearty thanks to your Klub for their flattering kindness in electing me an honorary member,
and invitation to visit Hawaii as their guest, and assure the Klub that I shall gladly seize the first opportunity I have
to visit your lovely islands. Your lenses must fairly revel in the glorious abundance of leafy picturesque beauty for which
your islands are famous. My home is near Martinez, within less than two hours of S. F., and I shall be glad to see any of
your members who may chance to come to California. Cordially yours, J. M. 02890
