4 you, as soon as you get this letter. And write to Aunt Margaret herself for it would make her so happy, she misses you
so - as we all do. And now dear Papa take good care of yourself, and write soon to your loving daughter Helen Muir. Remuera
Auckland N.Z. 23rd. Mch 1904 in margin: 152 Madam This letter as handed to, and opened by us, as no one of the name
of John Muir is known here. Should I ever hear of Mr. John Muir I will inform him, you had written to him. I leave Auckland
by steamer following the one which carries this letter (or 20th April) on a visit to the old country via Vancouver but in
the interval will make every enquiry in order if possible to locate your relative. Yours truly James Muir. 1 Martinez,
California March 1 st? , 1904. Dear Papa, Since I wrote last we received one more letter from you, to make us all happy.
But I do wish we could know just where to write, you would not seem quite so far away then I have been wondering whether you
have received the first letter I sent to Auckland. If you receive this one please cable to us just where to write. We are
all about as usual here, Mama is fairly well Aunt Margaret is a little better and able to go about the house and yard. Wanda
is studying hard at Berkeley but keeps well, and we see her every Saturday. I am feeling perfectly well once more 03344
