1881 My dear little Helen Papa is glad he has your picture with him for he can look at it when he is far away cannot see
you feels lonesome without you Wanda mamma I am living in a house made out of cloth the wind shakes the walls makes them
flap like a tablecloth when you are shaking off the crumbs There is a big mountain near the house some fo the snow that
is lying on it looks like animals. One of the patches of snow looks like an elephant 200 feet long. I will try to draw it
for you. This is the old white fellow sketch of elephant in rectangle here is a reindeer sketch of reindeer in rectangle Papa
will soon be back to you my dear Helen I will not tell you to be good for Papa knows you will be good 01284
