Description:
Photograph of an interior mural in Bldg.1489, south end of building, garage area, interior west wall, 4' wide by 8' high.
This is the Ordnance Corps Regimental Branch Insignia. The red circle represents a red cannonades belt with buckle (the buckle
on this mural is not completed). The bomb at the top of the mural represents cannon munitions of the past; the flame symbolizes
the power of present day munitions. The color red represents the plume that was visible when cannons were fired. The crossed
cannons are a symbol of artillery.
