girl, the light and joy of the home. I was up at Davids yesterday, he and Ette are both having colds. There has been a great
deal of damp foggy weather lately, with little rain, but today there has been some thunder and a fine soaking rain which is
much needed - Will Muir keeps bravely at work, he has had a good deal of trouble with the Pison Oak which grows plentifully
about here, three or four times he has had a big dose of it. it causes a great amount of discomfort and keeps him from work
for a little while, especially when the leaves are off one gets touched with it without knowing it. Quite a number of Davids
friends have visited him the past summer. Mr Joe Wells of illegible , his wife and daughter who had been traveling in Washington
and Oregon also Mr Jas Go illegible who was with them staid about a week or more, after them Mr Mrs Jaeger of Portage also
