Martinez, May 25, 1899 My dear Johnson-- Thanks for your good wishes. How grand it would be were you going too. You need
a long cool trip as much as I do I'm just dying for wildness The last winter has been hard barren--forest fighting sickness
in the family benumbed Interrupted everything- I got off one article on the Yosemite Park--Your Park--today have 4 more half
done to be finished in the fall. We must make a glacial trip together Ever Yours John Muir 10024
