Description:
Brisbane Theater, formerly at 48 Visitacion Avenue was an important part of the community. There were double features, dish
night, Spino, and provided entertainment for residents in the 1940's until the decline of the mid 1950's. In 1959 fire gutted
the abandoned building. It was remodeled with business offices The building next door is the Brisbane Inn that has been
remodeled with a second story addition.
