Martinez, June 16th 1904 Dear Mrs Bidwell, I am sorry I was away when you were in the city. As soon as I got home, Keith
my two girls made me go to the Grand Canon diacritic Petrified Forests of Arizona where I was when your kind invitation Mrs
Cad illegible 's came here. I am now trying to get a lot of letters answered which talus-like have been accumulating for
more than a year. Nevertheless I hope to see you ere long. Remember me to Mrs Alexander believe me ever faithfully yours
