Located at 637 So. Upas in Escondido California the Charlotta Hotel was built in 1915. The hotel was built by Harry J. Schrupp
in the Craftsman style and was named for his daughter. It was later sold and an apartment building now stands on the site.
On January 7, 1993 the site was designated a Historical Point of Interest.
