4 The Zuni River country is a part of the Painted Desert and is full of scattered wood some logs. The Chaco, Chusea Animas
valleys in N.W. New Mex. are covered with scattered fossil wood and near the Escavada Wash there were lots of logs 2 and 3
feet in diameter I have marked these places on the maps, which you can keep if you want more detailed notes will send them
