Oonalaska July 8 1899 My dear Johnson Have just a few minutes before the Loredo sails Hence this hasty scrawl Ive wished
a 1000 times you were with us on this fine wild trip. It is just what you need How cool grand the icy scenery how beautiful.
The St Elias Fairweather glacial Mtns are glorious its harmonies of ice fire green flowery slopes. We are going to the Seal
Islands from here thence to St Laurence Isld some points on the Siberian Coast then home. All are well. No discord as yet
