GEO. HANSEN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT 2705 HEARST AVENUE, BERKELEY, GAL ADVISORY ARCHITECT TO PARK COMMISSIONS, MUNICIPALITIES
AND CEMETERY ASSOCIATIONS Dec. 16th. 1904. Dear friend of ours, Don't mind the invasion of your Martinez- reclouse .
I promise not to impose on you oftener than I feel the need of it. Read, I ask you, the enclosed, and tell me in few words
what my progress, or my prospect is. And that you can do your criticism in as few words as possible, I enclose also Mrs. Loughead's
letter. She has no gush in her, having tasted life's cup pretty deeply, and what she has said to me dont need saying over.
Therefore take all that for granted. I print down a sketch like this now and then, when nightgave me the light for it, and
I ought to better my ways as I go along. And would you like a biB of life as true as this sketch, only of more recent happening?---
