Full title:Mr. and Mrs. T. Kawakami (Issei) are operating the Civic Unity Hostel, 630 North 5th Street, San Jose, California,
next door to the Buddhist Church. The Kawakamis left Heart Mountain in March. At present there are twenty-five guests, but
the place will accommodate that many more. Mr. Kawakami says community acceptance is good in San Jose, and neighbors and merchants
