came to the United States many years ago, is a recognized Nisei leader, a graduate of the University of Washington, West Coast
newspaper man, foreign correspondent for the Shanghai Times and Far East Review and Editor of the Shanghai Herald. Bill and
Alice have lived in Japan and China, and Bill has traveled extensively in Mongolia and Malaysia. His column in the Pacific
