Description:
Gift -- Angelo Butti, right, long-time resident of Thousand Oaks, has donated the gaslight lamp that has been a landmark
for many years on Thousand Oaks Blvd., to the Conejo Valley Historical Society. Butti has been prominent in preserving the
natural beauty of the Conejo Valley. He is retiring soon from the operation of the Texaco Service Station where the light
standard has been situated. Jay Coles, president of the CVHS, accepted the light and said it would be used outside the Stagecoach
Inn in Newbury Park.
