Biography
Robert Harbison Power (April 19, 1926-May 13, 1991) was a general partner in the Nut Tree restaurant which was founded by
his parents in 1921 in Vacaville, California. A historian, he authored
Drake's Landing in California: a Case for San Francisco Bay (1973) and
Francis Drake & San Francisco Bay: a Beginning of the British Empire (1974), among other works.

The collection contains correspondence, commission work notes, exhibits, newspapers and magazine articles, publications and
speeches, and research project notes related to Power's interest in Francis Drake and the San Francisco Bay.
