Description
This collection includes administrative files, corporate papers, event files and news bulletins from the Dana Strand Club, a mobile home community located in Dana Point, CA. Background
The Dana Strand Club was a mobile home development on the Dana Point Strand established in 1956 by the Chandler-Sherman Corporation. The Club grounds included 90 lots overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The site was accessible only by private road and included a private beach. Club amenities included a restaurant, clubhouse, tennis court and swimming pool. The club hosted events such as holiday parties and a polar bear swim, and issued a community newsletter.
