Biographical/Historical Sketch
Willard J. Classen earned his A.B. in geology at Stanford University in 1922.
Materials pertaining to Classen's years as a student include the student handbook for 1918-19; the songbook for the Junior
Opera "Three of a Kind," 1919; and commencement programs and ephemera, 1921-22. Other materials include F. W. Loel's "Stratigraphy
