    Biography / Administrative History

    Ephraim Dyer was a farmer. He was born in Alvarado, Alameda County, California in 1881 and attended the University of California, graduating in 1907. He later worked for Rindge Land and Navigation Company on Palm Tract in the San Joaquin River Delta (1908-1915) and for Natomas Corporation at Wheatland in Yuba County.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    This collection consists of photographs Dyer took illustrating reclamation and agricultural practices in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Sacramento Valley before World War I. There is also a Dyer genealogy written by Ephraim Dyer IV.
