This collection consists of a membership card, invitations, and programs created by the Arizona Hassayampa Society of Southern
California from 1914-1919. This collection also includes newspaper articles, predominately from the
Los Angeles Times, published from 1908-1938.

The Arizona Hassayampa Society of Southern California was comprised of a group of California residents dedicated to celebrating
Arizona's history and legacy at annual meetings. Joseph Amasa Munk, creator of the Munk Library of Arizoniana held at the
Braun Research Library, was a member of the Society.
