The Arizona Hassayampa Society of Southern California was comprised of a group of California residents dedicated to celebrating
Arizona's history and legacy at annual meetings. This collection consists of a membership card, invitations, and programs
created by the Arizona Hassayampa Society of Southern California from 1914-1919. This collection also includes newspaper articles,
predominately from the
Los Angeles Times, published from 1908-1938.
Background

Arizona's history and legacy at annual meetings. Joseph Amasa Munk, creator of the Munk Library of Arizoniana held at the
Braun Research Library, was a member of the Society.
