The Leonid N. Stolovich papers include a wide range of correspondence with philosophers, literary authors, and scholars of
literature and art, among others.
Background
Leonid Naumovich Stolovich was born in 1929. He received his degrees from Leningrad University and is now professor emeritus
of the Philosophy Department of Tartu University in Estonia. He is a specialist in the fields of aesthetics, axiology and
the history of philosophy. He is the author of more than forty books and 400 publications in 20 languages.
