Record Series 13 contains the financial records of the Associated Students of UCLA (ASUCLA). Included are audit reports, financial
reports, expense statements, preliminary recommendations regarding changes in accounting procedures, trial balances and financial
statements, income and expense estimates, operating budgets, revised budgets, estimated year-end results, and actual year-end
results.
Background
The Associated Students of UCLA (ASUCLA) was formally created on December 5, 1919. The ASUCLA's revenues were principally
garnered from membership dues, retail store merchandising, and admission sales to campus athletic and entertainment activities.
Expenditures included intercollegiate athletics, student activities, parking facilities, and general administration.
