Background
Si Rose (1917-2011) was a prolific writer and producer of radio and television shows. His radio career began in the 1940s
and he moved to television sitcoms in the 1950s and 1960s. He frequently collaborated with wrier Seaman Jacobs. In the 1970s
Rose worked on multiple children’s TV shows under Sid and Marty Krofft. Rose received one Writers Guild Award for radio writing,
in 1957 for the Edger Bergen Show. He was married to Rita Sedran Rose.
