Description
The Shannon L. Peters Correspondence includes two hundred letters between Manteca, California, resident Shannon L. Peters,
his wife, Velma L. Peters, and their eight children in 1968 and 1969, while Peters served in the Vietname War. The letters
afford insights into emotional strains that American military families experienced at that time.
