    Biographical / Historical

    John Gash began collecting stamps as a child in the 1940s and later obtained his dealer's license. As a stamp dealer, he endeavored to treat all his clients with kindness, respect, and honesty of the value of their stamps. He and his wife attended George Pepperdine University in the 1960s. Although now retired, he served as a middle school history teacher and track and field coach for 35 years in Santa Rosa, CA.
