The John Gash Stamp Collection contains stamps dating from approximately 1870 to 2000 and consists of 38 collections, which is approximately 250,000 stamps in total. The collection includes stamp albums, loose stamps, and postcards. It features foreign mint and foreign used stamps, with particular emphasis on Greece and Israel, as well as some USA used stamps.

Biographical / Historical

John Gash began collecting stamps as a child in the 1940s and later obtained his dealer's license. As a stamp dealer, he endeavored to treat all his clients with kindness, respect, and honesty of the value of their stamps. He and his wife attended George Pepperdine University in the 1960s. Although now retired, he served as a middle school history teacher and track and field coach for 35 years in Santa Rosa, CA.
