A native of Minnesota, Dr. Floyd M. Martinson (1916-2000) was a professor of Sociology
and Anthropology (1945-1982) and a Research Professor (1982-2000) at Gustavus Adolphus
College in St. Peter, Minnesota. Dr. Martinson wrote prolifically regarding the family
and the development of sexuality in children and is best known for
The Sexual Life of
