    Fourteen letters and 16 pages of a diary which was written on the overland journey from Michigan to California.

    Biography

    John W. Ingram. Farmer and argonaut. Travelled from Janesville, Leniwa County, Michigan to California by wagon train in 1852. His letters describe his journey, mining in El Dorado County and his efforts to earn enough money to return home.
