Eighteen early Spanish documents concerning the discovery and exploration of America, Mexico and California, 1523-1735. Count
Angel de Vera's family coat of arms: "Vera Ponce de Leon Family", a painted wood plaque; "Knight Commander of Mortalla in
the very noble Order and Knighthood of Santiago" (and captain in the army of Don Francisco Varquez de Coronado, Don Garci-Lope
de Cardenas, discoverer of the Grand Canyon of Colorado and Arizona), also a painted wood plaque. "Executeria Hidalguia" (maternal
and paternal lineage), Vice-Presidente del censeje de Indias, Comdor de Santiage; this consists of four leaves from a scrapbook
with a negative photostat of the lineage passed on.
