Biographical/Historical Sketch
Robert I. Farrar enrolled with the class of 1944 at Stanford University and was a member of the freshman football team. After
military service during World War II, he returned to Stanford and earned his AB in economics in 1948.
Edited compilation of responses to a questionnaire sent to members of the 1940 Stanford freshman football team about their
college sport experiences, involvement in World War II, and professional and personal life; also includes some correspondence
to Farrar.
