Tulare County Library's photograph collection includes images of historical interest of Tulare County from the mid 1800s to
2000. Images document Tulare County Residents, Buildings, Homes, Libraries, Mountain Scenes, Celebrations and Activities,
Agriculture, Sequoia Natl. Park, Floods, Business and Merchants, Schools, Street scenes, Railroads, and Recreation. Of particular
interest are a group of 50 glass plate negatives taken by George David Smith, portrait photographs of local World War I soldiers,
and a group depicting various activities of the Tuberculosis and Health Assoc. of Tulare County.
