Biographical/Historical Sketch
Sterling, Stanford University's fifth president, 1949 to 1968, was a news analyst for the CBS radio network, 1942-1948, during
his tenure as history professor at Caltech.
The collection consists of publicity photographs taken during a CBS radio series "Citizens Forum," ca. 1945.
