Description
This collection consists of material related to the career of Dr. Bernard Gilmore, a French horn player, performer, composer, and Professor Emeritus of music at the University of California, Irvine. Materials include originals and drafts of over 45 musical compositions and arrangements by Gilmore, performance programs and posters, biographical information, and audio recordings of Gilmore's music.

Dr. Bernard Gilmore is a French horn player, performer, composer, and Professor Emeritus of music at the University of California, Irvine. Gilmore received his B.A and M.A. in composition from UCLA, and his D.M.A. in conducting from Stanford University. He married pianist Phyllis Markin in 1959.
