Description
Wilhelm W. Krauss (b.1894) collaborated in writing the book, The racial characters of the Swedish nation (1926), lectured on topics of race and eugenics, and wrote several manuscripts on racial topics. The collection consists of manuscripts, research notes, printed materials, photographs, and correspondence relating to Krauss' work on eugenics and racial characteristics.

Wilhelm W. Krauss was born in 1894 near Vienna, Austria; Ph.D, University of Vienna, 1923; research scientist at the State Institute for Human Genetics in Uppsala, Sweden, 1922-34; collaborated in writing the book, The racial characters of the Swedish nation (1926); did research in Hawaii, 1935-41, as a fellow of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Stockholm; librarian, UCLA International Relations Library, 1943-45; lectured on topics of race and eugenics; wrote several manuscripts on racial topics.
