Description
The collection consists of posters from Middle Eastern countries, including Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine,
Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Poster topics are related to ancient civilization,
architecture, art, asthma, conflict, culture, disability, environment, equestrianism, family, Kurds, population, public health,
recycling, reproductive health, road safety, theater, tourism, waste, and wildlife. Also included are posters from France,
Germany, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States, related to Arabic history and culture.
Restrictions
Property rights to the physical object belong to the UCLA Library,
Department of Special Collections. Literary rights, including copyright,
are retained by the creators and their heirs. It is the responsibility of
the researcher to determine who holds the copyright and pursue the
copyright owner or his or her heir for permission to publish where The UC
Regents do not hold the copyright.
