Scope and Content
Record Series 383 contains the exhibition files of the UCLA Library's Exhibit Committee. Files primarily contain documentation
of exhibits from 1938-1972. Additionally, files regard library collections, branch libraries, the Library Committee, Friends
of the UCLA Library, gifts to the library, reports, and publications from 1919-1972. Materials include organizational material,
publicity material, background information relating to exhibits, photographs, catalogs, and clippings. Additionally, box 24
features a number of clippings of The Albany Herald documenting opinions and events of the Civil Rights Movement from 1963.
