Biography
Romo Vincent was born in Chicago on December 23, 1908. He was a comedic character actor, appearing in film and television
productions between 1937 and 1977, often playing policemen and cab drivers. He died in Los Angeles on January 16, 1989.
Scope and Content
Collection consists primarily of manuscript scores and arrangements used in Vincent's performances. Scores include parts,
lead sheets, vocal scores, and piano scores, and are accompanied by typescript lyrics sheets. Also included are photographs
and a framed painting, possibly Vincent's work.
