Description
Photographs of Stanford students and campus scenes including Memorial Church, quad views, campus entrance gates, Roble Hall, the Stanford Mausoleum, campus roads, reservoir on the former Peter Coutts estate, Encina Hall residents, football team, women's basketball team, student excursions off-campus, and Prof. Fernando Sanford. Other subjects include the Palo Alto tree, the Woodside Post Office and hardware store, and possibly the Monterey coast.
Background
Florence Mary Grace graduated from Stanford University in 1906 with an A.B. in math; while a student she was a member of the women's basketball team. In 1909 she married Harry King Savage, class of 1907.
