Biography
Faith Dennis was a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, for many years. She died in Essex Connecticut
on 14 March 1997 at the age of 104 years.
Scope and Content
The collection documents Faith Dennis' travels through Europe, South America, Africa, Canada and the United States, 1913-1985.
She kept meticulous records of her trips, including details of expenses, accommodations and tours, as well as comments on
art, architecture and culture. Her scrapbooks contain photographs and postcards as well as ephemera and receipts collected
on each trip.
