Description
Collection consists of an autograph book kept when Lillian Strong was a pupil at the Cole School in Oakland, 1887-88; class photo [school and children unidentified but presumed to be the Cole School], ca. 1887; three photographs of her as a child, ca. 1878-80; and one photograph of her with her husband in 1936.
Background
Lillian Strong was the daughter of California pioneer George Strong; she later married a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.
