Varian Inc. (known as Varian Associates from its founding until 1999) was one of
California's first Silicon Valley companies. It was founded by Russell Varian,
Sigurd Varian, and Edward Ginzton in 1948.
Records include files on company history and anniversaries; press releases;
photographs; annual reports and newsletters; manuals and other publications on
products; and audio and video tapes.
