The Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade (VALB) is the collective organization that represents men and women from the United
States who volunteered to fight in the Spanish Civil War from 1936-1938. Made up of individuals from a number of battalions
(including the Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and the MacKenzie-Papineau), the organization also has members that served
in the medical corps (American Medical Bureau to Save Spanish Democracy), transport group (Regiment de Tren) and artillery
units such as the John Brown Artillery Corps.
