Papers of Santa Clara County's Crump family, including property records and financial records of the family's orchard operations. Ross O. Crump was born in Michigan, but graduated from San Jose High School and Stanford University. He was active in the Santa Clara County Farm Bureau, the Prune and Apricot Growers Association, and trustee of the Evergreen Soil and Conservation District.

Ross Owen Crump was born in Michigan circa 1901, arriving in Santa Clara County at the age of 16. He attended San Jose High School and graduated from Stanford University in 1926. Crump was a member of the County Farm Bureau, the Prune and Apricot Growers Association, and a trustee of the Evergreen Soil and Conservation District. He died in June 1964, and is buried in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
