Scope and Contents

The series includes news clippings related to university events and activities; university faculty, staff, and alumni; the university's Arabian horses; and individuals connected to the university. Some of the clippings are contained in large scrapbooks. Some of the folders, labeled "Not Posted," contain a list of news clippings along with clippings that could be requested by people at Cal Poly Pomona. The Office of Public Affairs, as it was then known, would typically distribute a packet of clippings to various people on campus but the "Not Posted" folders were not distributed in the normal way as a means of conserving paper.
