Letters from Lovers and Lawbreakers: Edited, Answered and Augmented, 1980. Also included in the collection are clippings, photocopies of correspondence, and publicity stills, circa 1970-1977.

Background
John Paul Hudson was an early gay liberation activist, journalist, and author. He served as a Mattachine Society New York
chapter librarian/archivist, Gay Activist Alliance (GAA) member, and National Coalition of Gay Activists vice president. His
articles appeared in
The Advocate,
Gay, and
Gay News under the psuedonym, John Francis Hunter, during the early 1970s. Some of his published books include
The Gay Insider: A Hunter's Guide to New York and a Thesaurus of Phallic Lore and
Superstar Murder. His later articles and books appeared under his own name.
