Description
The Larry Engelmann papers consists of Engelmann's research on the Vietnam War, including personal interviews of Americans
and Vietnamese, focusing on Saigon in the days surrounding the Fall of South Vietnam. The collection contains photographs,
cassette tapes, videos, floppy disks, one LP, books, and files. Larry Engelmann was professor and writer, as well as an advocate
for Cambodian and Vietnamese refugees. The collection also contains the papers of Father Joe Devlin (acquired by Engelmann),
including journals, correspondence, audio journals, photographs, news clippings, and other documentation of his time assisting
Vietnamese refugees from the 1960s onward.

Property rights reside with the University of California. Copyrights are retained by the creators of the records and their
