Description
The collection consists of newsletters
produced by migrant workers in labor camps established by the Resettlement Administration
and the Farm Security Administration in California and Washington during the 1930s and early
1940s. These newsletters document everyday operations of the camps, and provide insight into
the lives of the thousands of workers who migrated to the West Coast in the wake of the Dust
Bowl seeking employment.
