This collection consists of Dr. Bernard Kantor's collection of files, student papers, colleague papers, and photographs. Dr. Kantor was the Chair of the Department of Cinema at the University of Southern California from 1964 to 1974.

Dr. Bernard Kantor was Chair of the Department of Cinema, now the School of Cinematic Arts, at the University of Southern California from 1964 to 1976. He was married to Mona Kantor, an LAUSD teacher. Together they mentored many cinema students. The Mona and Bernard Kantor Endowed Chair in Production at the School of Cinematic Arts was created through their endowment.
