Description
Account of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire
Background
Adah P. Lowe was born in Indiana and married John C. Higgins in Marion County in 1888. John worked as an iron moulder. The
couple moved to San Francisco, where he worked for the Standard Brass Casting Co. and Great Western Smelting Co. After the
1906 earthquake and fire, the couple moved to Alhambra, Los Angeles County.
